Easter is on it’s way!
Are you ready for Easter? We have a few crafts to get you Easter ready!
One of my favorite crafts is a bunny.
Easter Sock Bunny
This an easy craft for you and your child to do.
You will need:
an old sock, ribbon, rice, 2 rubberbands, and a marker
(you can add buttons, or stitches for the face instead of a marker)
Step 1: Fill up the sock 2/3 full of rice. This will be the body of the rabbit. Seal off the rice by tying the rubber band around the sock.
Step 2: Add more rice for the rabbit’s head. Do not over fill. We want part of the sock left over for the ears.
Step 3: Wrap the 2nd rubber band around the sock to seal off the rice again.
Step 4: Take the left over part of sock and cut it is half to make the bunny have ears.
Step 5: Wrap a ribbon around the bunny’s neck and create his face. You can use a marker and draw it on or you can sew on buttons.
My children love making these.
Potato Easter Stamps
Potato stamps are probably the easiest & cheapest stamps around.
I have found that if you cut a potato in half longways, this is a perfect Easter egg stamp.
Set out paper plates of bright colors and let your children paint you beautiful Easter photos!
Enjoy these crafts with your children!
Happy Easter!
